The summer season is bringing a wealth of opportunities for families and practitioners to learn, grow, and connect through a series of free webinars. These educational sessions, available now through October, cover a wide range of topics designed to enhance skills, knowledge, and resilience for families.

One of the key upcoming webinars is "How to Help a Loved One With an Addiction," scheduled for June 18, 2025, at 11:30 am Central Time. This session, focusing on skills to support family members with substance use disorders using Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT), promises to be an invaluable resource for those seeking guidance.

Another noteworthy webinar is "I Respectfully Disagree: How to Have Difficult Conversations in a Divided World," scheduled for July 17, 2025, at 11:30 am Central Time. This session aims to equip participants with the skills to engage in respectful disagreements, a crucial skill in our increasingly diverse and interconnected world.

For those seeking inspiration to get organized, a seminar titled "Lighten Up: Letting Go of Clutter" introduces the KonMari technique of decluttering. This webinar is just one of many offerings designed to help individuals streamline their lives and create a more peaceful environment.

Financial webinars are also abundant, offering information and tools to manage finances effectively. Topics include payday loans, building credit history, understanding workplace benefits and health care, and putting savings to work. A separate series of webinars is dedicated to building financial confidence.

Families facing challenging times can find support through a series of free webinars offered by the Center for Family Development. These sessions, conducted by a team of educators from Montana State University and the University of Minnesota, cover topics such as parenting, mental well-being, and self-care.

Webinars on mental health are also plentiful, with sessions focusing on topics like elder financial exploitation, workplace benefits, and more. Some organizations, such as Meraki Institute and Kirkwood Community College, offer webinars broadly targeting mental wellbeing and personal growth with scheduled sessions through fall 2025.
