Facilities
The kindergarten's infrastructure is being upgraded to ensure safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency. This includes the installation of ramps and handrails, insulation, and eco-friendly heating and cooling systems. To create a more conducive learning environment, flexible, child-friendly spaces are being developed with age-appropriate furniture, quiet zones, and sensory rooms for children with special needs. Modern restrooms will feature child-sized fixtures and touchless hygiene solutions. Technology integration will also be a focus, with smartboards, tablets, and Wi-Fi being installed in the rooms to support digital learning tools.
Playgrounds
Three playgrounds surround the kindergarten building, with one new playground featuring a hill slide and mud table. Safety improvements include regular safety audits, new soft flooring (rubber mats), and updated fencing. The playgrounds will also cater to children with various abilities with the installation of inclusive play structures. Natural play areas, such as sandboxes and water play, will encourage outdoor exploration and environmental education. Staff
The staff at Kindertagesstätte Flohkiste consists of nine pedagogical employees, one cleaning staff, and one kitchen staff. App Development
A Kita app is in the planning stages to facilitate communication between parents and staff, share updates, photos, and event calendars. The app will also include interactive learning modules and activity suggestions. Digital check-in/check-out, access to schedules, and payment portals will be available. A feedback system will provide a channel for parents to give feedback and receive notifications about their child’s progress or emergencies.

The kindergarten operates from Monday to Thursday from 7 am to 4 pm, and on Friday from 7 am to 2 pm. The joyful and lively kindergarten is located in Kasseedorf.
