Unity Enterprise, a subsidiary of Unity Homes and Enterprise, is set to open a new business hub in Leeds next week. The grand opening events are scheduled for Monday, 13th May, and will mark the start of a new chapter for local entrepreneurs.

The new business hub, located at the Leeds Media Centre, will be a hub of entrepreneurial activity, aiming to empower local people to succeed in business. The Media Centre, one of the business groups operated by Unity Enterprise, has undergone a £1.8m refurbishment in partnership with Leeds City Council and the European Regional Development Fund.

The events next week will also see the launch of Steps to Business, a start-up training programme aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs aged 16-25. The programme, which focuses on creating and improving life chances, is designed to find and nurture entrepreneurial talent, with the ultimate goal of driving social and economic progression.

Cedric Boston, the Chief Executive of Unity Homes and Enterprise, commented, "We are excited to launch Steps to Business and our new business hub. Our aim is to provide a supportive environment for local entrepreneurs, offering them the training, resources, and connections they need to succeed."

In addition to the launch of Steps to Business, Enterprise Takeover Day will take place on Wednesday, 15th May. This event will offer business support from industry experts across West Yorkshire, providing participants with valuable insights and guidance. Both events are free to attend.
