City Council unveils fresh curriculum for continuing learning sessions

Menden's Senior Center is gearing up for an engaging new term, offering a variety of courses and activities designed to stimulate the minds and bodies of seniors.

Starting from October 7, the memory training for beginners will take place every Tuesday, from 9:30 to 11 AM. This session is designed to help participants solve tricky and fun tasks, encouraging them to think outside the box. Participants can join at any time, making it an accessible option for those looking to boost their memory skills. The fee for the October term is 40 euros, plus material costs to be discussed with the instructor.

For those seeking a more active pursuit, the dance course "Movement to Music" is an excellent choice. This ten-session course takes place every Thursday, from 3 to 4:30 PM, and involves setting steps to musical rhythms. The emphasis is on being active together, with a mix of lively and calm music. The fee for this term is 35 euros. The dance course is seeking additional participants, so don't miss out on this opportunity to dance and socialise.

In addition to these courses, Menden's Senior Center is also hosting a lecture on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Wednesday, September 24, from 2 to 4 PM. The Digital Angel team will be presenting this lecture, which is open to all visitors. Registration can be done by calling 02373 174 9699 or emailing i.schieferdecker@unsere website.
