"Civil Center Hosts Two Discussions on the Topic of 'Toxic Masculinity'"

The Bürgerzentrum Gahmen, a renowned venue in Lünen, will be hosting a thought-provoking workshop on September 18, 2025. The event, titled 'Men's Images and Their Impacts', will take place from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, followed by a full-day workshop on September 19, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4 PM.

The workshop, organised by Spiegelbild - Political Education from Wiesbaden e.V., will focus on examining patterns of toxic behaviour, reflecting on personal action patterns, and developing pedagogical tools for practice. The discussion will delve into themes such as stereotypes, gender roles, privileges, and toxic masculinity, and their impacts on family, partnership, workplace, and public life.

The workshop aims to set impulses for health, development, and equality, especially for professionals in youth work, equality, integration, and politics. Matthias Gathof from Wiesbaden and Dr. Christian Lüdke from Lünen will lead the discussion, while Matthias Gathof and Jana Müller will lead the workshop.
