Community Health System Unveils Revamped Burnett Extended Care Center
Community Health System has unveiled the revamped Burnett Extended Care Center following a $35 million renovation. The facility, which boasts over 150 beds, will begin admitting patients this fall, providing increased access to long-term care and recovery rooms for valley residents.
The grand opening of the redesigned center marked a significant milestone in the system's commitment to enhancing patient care. The facility now offers half of its beds dedicated to long-term specialized help, equipped with state-of-the-art amenities.
Spanning more than 150 beds, the center features three gyms and ample therapy spaces, ensuring patients have access to comprehensive rehabilitation services. Additionally, a beauty shop has been included to promote patients' overall well-being and comfort.
The renovation has created new job opportunities, with around 50 people already hired and plans to recruit up to 200 more staff members.
The Burnett Extended Care Center's transformation has significantly expanded its capacity and services, set to benefit valley patients seeking long-term care and recovery. The facility's enhanced features and increased staff will contribute to improved patient outcomes and experiences.
