Sparking Change through Art: Voices of the Next Generation
Step into the vibrant world of the "World Improvement Machine" exhibit, now on display until July 6th at the Pavilion on Friendship Island! This remarkable exhibition, organized by the Brandenburg Association for Art Education (BDK), showcases artistic works by young visionaries aged 12 to 18.
The exhibit's second installment, also titled "World Improvement Machine," invites you to explore creative solutions for a better world, all crafted by our future change-makers. Students submitted their artwork from art classes, delving into the theme of world improvement.
Art educator Katja Frick, the pioneer behind this project, believes that identifying problems, expressing opinions, and finding solutions are essential steps towards progress. Emphasizing peaceful dialogue, the association spent a year gathering the perspectives of young people on global improvement.
Enter the pavilion and immerse yourself in the creative mindset of our youth, encountering their concerns, ideas, and solutions. The pavilion is open from 1 to 5 PM on Thursdays through Sundays.
