Durham University's Professors in Practice initiative, led by Lucian Hudson, Director of Advancement, Marketing and Communications, and Professor in Practice for Leadership and Organisations, has been enriching student learning for over six years. The programme connects students with industry professionals, offering real-world insights to supplement academic curriculum.
The Professors in Practice Celebration Event, coordinated by Dr Joanna Berry, Associate Dean for External Engagement, provided practical and thought-provoking conversations on sustainability. Among the Professors in Practice teaching at the Faculty of Economics are Emma Edhem, an Alderman in the City of London Corporation, and Dr Kevin Lin, who has been with the university since 2019.
