Gregory C. Yadley, a partner at Shumaker, has been recognised with the prestigious Michael G. Williamson Lifetime Achievement Award from the Business Law Section of the Florida Bar. This accolade, presented at The Florida Bar Business Law Section's Annual Meeting, is a testament to Yadley's significant contributions to the legal profession and the Florida Bar's Business Law Section over his more than 40-year career.

Yadley's expertise lies particularly in securities law, a field in which he has made a notable impact. He currently chairs the annual Federal Securities Institute and is a principal author of The Florida Bar Corporate Practice Manual. His leadership has played a vital role in shaping The Florida Bar Business Law Section's strategic vision and growth.

In addition to his work with The Florida Bar Business Law Section, Yadley has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida Levin College of Law and held membership in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee. He has also served as a past Chair of The Florida Bar Business Law Section and its Corporations, Securities and Financial Institutions Committee, as well as a long-standing Chair of The Florida Bar Business Law Section's Long Range Planning Committee.
