Fresh impetus for the team: six apprentices commence employment in Nordhorn city

In the heart of August, on the 1st, six new trainees joined the City of Nordhorn. These fresh faces include Leonie Giebel, Hannah Martin, Michelle Rein, Jan Körmer, Leon van de Wiel, and Lea Becker.

Each of these newcomers brings unique skills to the table. Leon van de Wiel, for instance, is a Logistics Specialist, while Lea Becker is an Administrative Specialist. Leonie Giebel and Jan Körmer have taken up the roles of educators, and Hannah Martin specialises in Media and Information Services. Michelle Rein, too, is an Administrative Specialist.

The official welcome ceremony for these new trainees was a significant event, attended by First Deputy Mayor Markus Schlie and Training Officer Kristin Koel. The new trainees were warmly welcomed and wished a successful start to their professional lives within the city administration.

The training for these six individuals will take place in various areas of the city administration. The trainees will be learning from the City of Nordhorn, gaining valuable experience and knowledge that will aid them in their future careers. The training programme is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the city's operations and services.

Despite extensive searches, the names of the first three trainees who started in August 2022 at the city administration of Nordhorn, or where they were trained within the city administration, could not be found in the available records.

Nonetheless, the City of Nordhorn is excited to have these six new trainees on board. Their presence promises to bring fresh perspectives and ideas, contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the city. The city administration looks forward to watching these trainees grow and flourish in their roles.
