State Employment Promotion Agency Offers Short-Term Training Courses in Georgia

The State Employment Promotion Agency in Georgia is offering short-term professional training and retraining courses, aimed at equipping citizens with high-demand skills and facilitating their rapid employment. These courses, funded entirely by the state, are open to both public and private educational institutions and cover a wide range of sectors, from computer programs and aesthetics to early childhood education and home care.

Interested individuals can apply for these courses by visiting the agency's service centers across the country. The application period for the 2025 enrollment, which ran from August 11 to August 22, has now closed. However, applicants are encouraged to stay updated on future enrollment periods.

To enroll, applicants must first register at the service centers and select their preferred professional field. The courses last between one to three months and are designed to strengthen citizens' skills in various high-demand areas.

In the current year, the agency has fully funded over 2,000 citizens across more than 80 short-term courses. Many of these participants have already found employment, demonstrating the effectiveness of the program.

The Deputy Minister of Health, Giorgi Tsagareishvili, has emphasized the importance of these courses and encouraged educational centers, especially those in regional areas, to actively apply for the program. He believes that these courses will help improve the employment prospects of citizens in these areas.

In collaboration with 30 colleges nationwide, the State Employment Promotion Agency has been able to offer a diverse range of courses. The agency aims to support thousands of beneficiaries annually, contributing to the overall economic growth of the country.
