Park University Graduates Celebrate Achievements Amidst Pandemic

In a year marked by uncertainty, Park University students from the El Paso, Fort Bliss, and Holloman Air Force Base campuses have persevered and reached a significant milestone. Despite the cancellation of the commencement ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic, 94 students received their Bachelor's degrees on September 30, 2020.

Among the graduates, several students distinguished themselves by earning multiple degrees or certificates. For instance, Jillian Garcia received both a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration and an Undergraduate Certificate in Terrorism and Homeland Security. Similarly, Isaac Boakye and Maribel Revilla both earned Master of Business Administration degrees in Human Resource Management.

The graduating class represented a diverse range of academic disciplines. Jose A. Gonzalez, Shannar A. White, and Miguel A. Alcala all received Bachelor of Science degrees in Management, with specialisations in Human Resources, Accounting, and Marketing respectively. Arturo Sanchez, Erika Guzman, and Carlos Quiroz all graduated with Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration, majoring in Management.

Several students also pursued degrees in Social Psychology, including George L. Bowe, Vanessa Esparza, and Robert Matthew Berroteran. Notably, Eric D. Johnson combined his Bachelor of Science in Management with an Undergraduate Certificate in Terrorism and Homeland Security.

In addition to these graduates, Lillian D. Garcia, April Granillo Zamudio, and Elizabeth Velasquez all received Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration, specialising in Human Resources. Crystal Solis graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, majoring in Corrections.

The class of 2020 also included students who earned Associate degrees, such as Georgette N. Taylor, Prentis Braswell, and Three anonymous students. Furthermore, Oswaldo Chavez received a Master of Business Administration in Finance, while Priscilla Palacios earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Park University's El Paso, Fort Bliss, and Holloman Air Force Base campuses also conferred Master's degrees to 20 students. Among these graduates were Stephen C. Payne Jr., who received a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, and Marcella A. Delaney, who earned a Master of Public Administration in Disaster and Emergency Management.
