Graduates Honored at Park University's El Paso Region Campuses Celebration
Park University Graduates Celebrate Achievements Amidst Pandemic
In a year marked by uncertainty, Park University students from the El Paso, Fort Bliss, and Holloman Air Force Base campuses have persevered and reached a significant milestone. Despite the cancellation of the commencement ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic, 94 students received their Bachelor's degrees on September 30, 2020.
Among the graduates, several students distinguished themselves by earning multiple degrees or certificates. For instance, Jillian Garcia received both a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration and an Undergraduate Certificate in Terrorism and Homeland Security. Similarly, Isaac Boakye and Maribel Revilla both earned Master of Business Administration degrees in Human Resource Management.
The graduating class represented a diverse range of academic disciplines. Jose A. Gonzalez, Shannar A. White, and Miguel A. Alcala all received Bachelor of Science degrees in Management, with specialisations in Human Resources, Accounting, and Marketing respectively. Payne Jr., who received a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, and Marcella A. Delaney, who earned a Master of Public Administration in Disaster and Emergency Management.
