Park University Holds Graduation Ceremony for Camp Pendleton Students

Despite the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, Park University held a graduation ceremony on September 22, 2020, for students from its Camp Pendleton (Calif.) Campus. A total of 72 students were eligible to graduate, with 62 receiving a Bachelor's degree and six receiving an Associate degree.

Among the graduates were students who had earned multiple degrees and certificates. For instance, Steven L. Bergeson and Jessica Cleveland both received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology and an Undergraduate Certificate in Terrorism and Homeland Security. Adam Geoffrey Halter received an Associate of Science degree in Management, while Justin R. Ortiz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance.

In the field of Criminal Justice Administration, Wilmer Viera received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration/Law Enforcement, and Justin D. McBride also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration/Law Enforcement. Zacharie Brammer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration/Law Enforcement, and Jeffrey L. Graham earned an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration.

The Business Administration field saw a number of graduates, including Clarence S. Lamin, who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management. Richard A. Chmielewski, Richard W. Hammac, Levi Fuller, and Kevin A. Farrell all received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management, while Avelon F. Aceves earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Accounting. Kitt Russell Hoffman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Logistics, and Krystle A. Hall received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Personal Financial Planning.

In the field of Social Psychology, Keonekealoha P. Fatiaki, Jessika Gonzalez, Bryna R. Crawford, Laura Sylvana Uzarski, Antoinette A. Reyna, Amanda Rodriguez, Erin R. Kuhns, Bryan J. Ross, Erin P. Maloney, Andrew E. Thomas, Bretton T. Cordsen, Valerie Xaviera Darling, James LeRoy Acosta, Katelyn Morgan Reiss, and Katsia Gutter-Ali all received a Bachelor of Science degree.

Other graduates included Sally Garibay, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management, and DeMarco F. Johnson, who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management.

The event, which was originally scheduled for Sept. 18 at the Camp Pendleton Theater and Training Center, was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, Park University was able to hold a successful ceremony to celebrate the achievements of its students.

In addition to the undergraduate graduates, Melissa Cruz received a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Park University, and Jessica Yvette Santana received a Master of Business Administration degree. Jonathan Kolb received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science/Networking and Security, and Claudia Huizar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management.

Rafael E. Barahona received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science/Networking and Security, while Dominique Jamar Vaughn received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administration/Law Enforcement. Danielle P. Burke received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, and James Babin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management.

Carla Rolon Rivera received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management, and Halmia Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management. Frances S. Whiteside received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management/Human Resources, and Kevin M. Fountain received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management.

Finally, Angel D. Porras and Jesus M. Gonzales both received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology, and Alyssa V. Fajardo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. Victoria Leigh Frost received a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Psychology, and Halmia Jackson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management.
