Krasnodar Region Boosts Teacher Support With New Initiatives

The Krasnodar region is bolstering its support for educators with a range of measures. These include increased mortgage payment compensation, personal achievement bonuses, and new school constructions. The region has allocated a substantial budget for these initiatives.

In 33 municipalities across the Krasnodar region, extra support measures are in place for young teachers and winners of professional competitions. In Krasnodar, the mortgage payment compensation for teachers has been hiked to 25,000 rubles. Since its introduction in 2022, nearly 1,300 teachers have benefited from this assistance.

Over the past decade, the region has seen the construction of over 100 new schools. The Krasnodar region also provides personal achievement bonuses and monthly supplements to support teachers. From 2026, the regional payment to teachers is planned to increase to 15,000 rubles per month. In 2025 alone, over 16 billion rubles have been allocated from the regional budget for teacher support.

Existing educational institutions in the region are regularly renovated to ensure a conducive learning environment. In the Caucasus region, young teachers starting their careers in municipal schools receive up to 28,000 rubles. Additionally, teachers in need of housing can receive a regional payment of 1 million rubles for their initial mortgage rates today.

These initiatives demonstrate the Krasnodar region's commitment to attracting and retaining quality educators. The combination of financial support, infrastructure development, and recognition of professional achievements is expected to have a positive impact on the region's educational landscape.
