Legal Profession Careers Introduced by Employment Agency
In North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), the justice system presents a wide range of career opportunities for individuals seeking a challenging and rewarding profession. On Thursday, December 12th, BIZ Wuppertal will host an event showcasing entry paths and training contents in the middle and upper levels of the justice system.
For adults who have completed an apprenticeship, the age limit for training is 40. The event will cover the dual study program in the upper level of the justice system, which takes place at the Fachhochschule in Bad Münstereifel. This three-year program combines theoretical training at the Justice Academy Wuppertal and practical training in various justice facilities across NRW, with theory and practice alternating regularly.
The dual study lasts three years and covers jobs in the general prison service, workshop service, nursing service, and the study to become a Diplom-Verwaltungswirt/in. After training, tasks vary depending on the service direction. Civil servants may supervise and care for inmates, train them in various professions, work in nursing and care, or provide supplies to inmates.
To apply for training in the justice system in NRW, applicants need at least a Hauptschulabschluss with a completed apprenticeship or Fachoberschulreife. For the workshop service, a master's degree is required, and for the nursing service, a state exam as a health and nursing professional is required.
The recruitment advisory service for the justice system will present various trainings, including the dual study program, at the event. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions. For more information about the recruitment advisory service, contact 0202 / 9457 - 2020 or email [email protected].
For event-related inquiries, contact 0202 / 2828 - 460. Over 230 new recruits were hired in the middle and upper levels of the justice system in NRW last year, and a similar number is expected this year.
The justice system offers various career paths, including middle service, higher service, higher judicial service, and the dual study program.
