In the heart of Belarus, an exciting educational revolution is underway. The state is actively building and renovating kindergartens, with a focus on creating modern, harmonious, and sustainable learning environments.

One such institution, currently under construction by GPO "Minskstroy", is a three-story semi-circular building situated within the boundaries of Vaupshassov Street - Klyuchevaya Street - Taezhnaya Street in Minsk. This kindergarten, set to open soon in the Drazhnya microdistrict, will accommodate 12 groups and cater to children up to 3 years old and children aged 3 to 7.

The vibrant facades of the kindergarten feature a "wood grain" stucco effect, adding a touch of nature to the urban landscape. Shade canopies have already been installed, and over 80 small architectural forms will be delivered in August. The kindergarten will boast a unique feature: a swimming pool for 230 children.

This is just one of the nine new kindergartens planned to open by the end of 2025, providing a total of 2015 places. Five new kindergartens opened in the first half of 2025, providing around 1060 places, making it easier for residents of Vitebsk and Minsk regions, as well as the capital, to enroll their children.

The kindergarten sector in Belarus is growing. Since 2021, 48 new kindergartens have opened, providing a total of 9836 places. As of 2024-2025, around 3700 kindergartens were in operation in Belarus, including kindergartens, sanatoriums, and children's development centres. The number of kindergartens in operation in Belarus has increased from 2021 to 2025.

While specific details on the exact number, locations, and capacities of new modern kindergartens opening in Minsk and Belarus are not yet accessible, the state's commitment to improving early childhood education is clear. The opening of these institutions marks a significant step towards ensuring that more Belarusian children have access to quality education and care.

  2. To ensure a holistic approach to a child's development, it would be beneficial to consider incorporating education-and-self-development resources such as libraries and interactive learning tools within these new kindergartens in Belarus.
