Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina welcomes young learners as the BBMA opens its gates for educational opportunities!

Big Blue Marble Academy (BBMA) has opened a new early childhood education location in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The academy, located at 2950 Rivertown Parkway, offers the exceptional early childhood education that BBMA is known for at its 96 locations across the country.

BBMA Mt. Pleasant's curriculum, named Passport to Learning, is designed to encourage exploration, discovery, and global-inspired learning for young learners. The curriculum emphasises a vibrant and dynamic learning environment, both indoors and outdoors, to stimulate exploration and play-based discovery.

The focus of BBMA Mt. Pleasant's curriculum is on nurturing a child's cognitive, social, and emotional development, preparing them for success in Kindergarten and beyond. The curriculum is structured to encourage children to explore their interests, both inside and outside the classroom, fostering curiosity and self-directed learning.

Teachers at BBMA Mt. Pleasant create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere that values each child’s unique learning journey, promoting both cognitive growth and emotional development. The "global-inspired" aspect of the curriculum introduces children to diverse cultures, languages, and global themes, helping them develop an early awareness and appreciation of the world beyond their immediate environment.

BBMA Mt. Pleasant offers a range of programs designed to support early childhood development, including both academic and after-care options. For eligible families, enrollment in the Georgia Pre-K program is available, aligning with state standards for school readiness.

The academy's classrooms are designed to be bright, expansive, and welcoming for young learners, and encourage active learning and exploration. On rainy days, the classrooms serve as a play space, while on sunny days, a large playground is available with age-appropriate equipment for all students.

BBMA Mt. Pleasant caters to young learners, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, and offers summer camp and after-school care for school-aged students, up to age 12. The academy operates from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing convenient hours for working parents.

BBMA Mt. Pleasant's programs aim to feel like an extension of the family for working parents. The academy offers a parent communication app for frequent updates, and can be contacted at 854-855-7176 for scheduling a tour or learning more.

BBMA Mt. Pleasant places a strong emphasis on the first five years of a child's development, with a focus on nurturing both the mind and the heart for a better world. The academy invites potential families to visit and experience the Passport to Learning curriculum firsthand.
