NAHB Hosts Successful Area Leadership Conferences, More Planned for Fall 2025
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has successfully hosted two Area Leadership Conferences in 2025, with another two scheduled for the fall. These events, held in convenient locations, offer leadership development and networking opportunities for industry professionals.
The conferences, held in-person, cover a range of topics crucial to the industry. These include effective recruiting, workforce development, meeting management, and board transitions. Participants have found the training invaluable. Bubba Jenkins of Jenkins Homes appreciated the convenience and affordability of the training, while Michael Munnerlyn of Maxtec Drywall highlighted the benefits of connecting with peers and enhancing business interactions.
The upcoming events include Seattle (Area 15) on Oct. 15-17 and Kearney, Neb. (Area 11) on Nov. 6-7. NAHB offers grants to cover registration costs for eligible participants, making these events accessible to a wider audience. The association has also created a Hosting Toolkit to assist states or areas in hosting similar events. Looking ahead, dates for spring 2026 area conferences have been announced, with HBAs from California, Hawaii, and the district set to join, along with other unspecified HBAs.
The NAHB's Area Leadership Conferences have proven beneficial for industry professionals, providing leadership development and networking opportunities. With upcoming events in Seattle and Kearney, Neb., and plans for spring 2026, the association continues to support and invest in the growth of its members.
