AIIMS Announces NORCET-9 Registration for 3500 Nursing Officer Posts

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has issued a notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-9. The application process for this test starts on July 22, 2025, and ends on August 11, 2025.

The registration and application process for NORCET 9 is online on the AIIMS website, www.aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates can apply for the Nursing Officer posts before August 11, 2025.

The NORCET-9 exam mode is online, and the number of vacancies for the Nursing Officer posts is 3500. The Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-9 is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

The detailed eligibility criteria for NORCET 9 at AIIMS New Delhi in 2025 are as follows:

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must fulfill one of the following:
  • Option A: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) or State Nursing Council recognized institute or university; and registered as Nurse and Midwife with the State/INC.
  • Option B: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized institute/board/council; registered as Nurse and Midwife with the State/INC; and a minimum of two years' experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds after acquiring the qualification and registration.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age: 30 years as of August 11, 2025 (the application deadline)

Application Process

Candidates must apply online through the official AIIMS exam portal at www.aiimsexams.ac.in. The application window opened on July 22, 2025, and closes on August 11, 2025.
