Notre Dame Academy Names Lauren Hitron as New President

Notre Dame Academy has announced Lauren Hitron as its new president, effective July 1. Hitron, a lifelong Catholic and Ursuline Associate, brings nearly two decades of leadership experience in Catholic, all-girls education.

Jessica Rawe, Notre Dame Academy Board Chair, praised Hitron as a 'visionary leader' with a 'deep passion for Catholic education'. Hitron's appointment follows Jane Kleier's instrumental leadership during a period of transition at the school. Kleier will continue to serve as Chief Communications Officer.

Hitron, who holds a master's degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University, has designed and implemented mission-driven leadership development programs at Sacred Heart Schools. She currently serves as the founding director of the Jean Frazier Leadership Institute there. Hitron also holds a position at Notre Dame College and is affiliated with the organization Vocare. The academy looks forward to partnering with Hitron to continue its mission.

Lauren Hitron, honored to be named president, expressed her admiration for Notre Dame Academy's vision and reputation. The Board of Directors expressed its appreciation for Jane Kleier's service as interim president and her continued role in the school's leadership.
