Over 200 Dubai Educators Honoured With Golden Visas

Over 200 exceptional educators in Dubai have received Golden Visas, a testament to Sheikh Hamdan's commitment to honouring and empowering the teaching profession. This initiative, led by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), reflects Dubai's dedication to celebrating its educators.

The first round of Golden Visas saw 223 educators selected from 435 applicants, representing 51% of the total. These recipients were chosen based on their professional achievements, community impact, and peer recognition, with no consideration given to demographic factors. The recipients include 157 from schools, 60 from universities, and six from early childhood centres. Applications for the second round will open from 15th October to 15th December 2025, extending the opportunity to educators in private early childhood centres, schools, and international higher education institutions.

Sheikh Hamdan, in his praise for the educators, acknowledged their crucial role in shaping Dubai's future, describing them as 'the ones who light the way forward'. The Golden Visa programme aligns with the Education 33 (E33) Strategy, aiming to attract top global talent and establish Dubai as a leading education hub.

More than 200 outstanding educators in Dubai have been granted Golden Visas, reflecting Dubai's commitment to celebrating and empowering its teaching professionals. The initiative supports the Education 33 Strategy and opens opportunities for more educators in the second round.
