Park University Promotes Kena Wolf to Chief Enrollment Management Officer

Kena Wolf, an experienced higher education professional with over 20 years of experience, has been promoted to the role of Chief Enrollment Management Officer (CEMO) at Park University. The promotion was announced on January 20, 2022.

Wolf's new role at Park University involves strategic and operational leadership, overseeing several University departments, including admissions, student marketing, student success, student financial services, strategic alliances, military and veteran student affairs, and campus center operations. Her duties began on January 1, 2022.

Park University President Shane Smeed stated that Wolf's promotion provides the institution with a critical perspective on the changing national enrollment landscape. Smeed praised Wolf's strategic insight and leadership for both enrollment and fiscal growth at Park University.

Wolf's extensive experience working with traditional, distance, and military learners will be invaluable in her new role. Prior to her promotion, Wolf served as the interim chief operating officer since December 2020. She was hired as the associate vice president of campus center and distance operations at Park University in April 2016.

In her new role, Wolf will also be responsible for student financial services and military and veteran student affairs, areas in which she has not had previous responsibilities. However, her experience and qualifications, including a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management, have prepared her for this new challenge.

Before joining Park University, Wolf worked as a debate and speech teacher/coach at two high schools in Kansas. She also earned teaching certification from Kansas State University. Wolf's new role as CEMO involves oversight of Park's network of campuses across the country (other than the Parkville Campus).

Unfortunately, there are no specific details available about Kena Wolf's background or achievements related to her promotion as Park University's CEMO. However, in general, such promotions in higher education enrollment management often require a combination of extensive experience, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the evolving enrollment landscape. Wolf's successful track record at Park University and her qualifications make her a strong fit for this important role.

Kena Wolf's promotion to the role of Chief Enrollment Management Officer (CEMO) at Park University signifies a significant step towards her career development in education-and-self-development. With her new responsibilities that include oversight of student financial services and military and veteran student affairs, Wolf will also have opportunities for further education-and-self-development by navigating and adapting to these new areas.
