The Scripps Institution of Oceanography, a division of the University of California, San Diego (UC San Diego), is currently inviting applications for a variety of job openings. Current job openings at Scripps Oceanography include a Fire Liaison/Advisor in the GEOSCIENCES RESEARCH DIV., an External Relations Specialist, an Event Operations Crew member for the Aquarium-Museum, an Applications Programmer in the GEOSCIENCES RESEARCH DIV., a Marine Electrician for the NIMITZ MARINE FACIL, a Water Resources R&D Manager for the CLIMATE/ATMOS SCI/PHY OCEANOG, a First Assistant Engineer for the NIMITZ MARINE FACIL, and SIO Research Vessel Engine Crew and Deck Crew members on a per-diem basis for the NIMITZ MARINE FACIL.

In addition to these career positions, Scripps Oceanography offers paid student worker positions to current UC San Diego undergraduate and graduate students. These positions can be viewed and applied through Handshake. Scripps also offers a variety of summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs.
