Potsdam & Viadrina Host 65th Young Conference on Public Law

The University of Potsdam, in collaboration with Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), is hosting the 65th Young Conference on Public Law from September 24 to 26. The conference, themed 'Function and Functionality of Law', is fully booked, but the opening evening is open to the public with prior registration.

The event kicks off with discussions in eight working groups, exploring topics like the Function of Constitutional Law, Production of Law, Resilience and Law, and Law in the Anthropocene. Giacomo Sebis, a lawyer and researcher at the Wuppertal Institute, will deliver a lecture on 'Human Rights and Circular Economy: An International Legal Framework for Socio-Ecological Economy' on September 26 at 11:00 AM. Participants can also join working groups directly by contacting the respective circles.

Following the working groups, attendees can enjoy a campus tour, networking event, and an opening evening to wrap up the day.
