The "Balakaiylar Mektebi" summer program, a popular initiative in Kazakhstan, is keeping thousands of children engaged and learning during their summer holidays. The program, which runs from June to August, is held in kindergartens and schools across the capital city, Nur-Sultan.

According to the latest statistics from gov.kz, a total of 3000 children are participating in the program this summer. Of these, 1473 are learning in Kazakh, and 1527 are following the Russian curriculum.

The program offers a wide range of educational, cultural, and recreational activities designed to promote the development and well-being of young children. These activities include educational games, arts and crafts, physical exercises, and cultural programs.

In June, the program was held in 74 schools and 20 kindergartens, with a total of 140 children participating in 20 groups in kindergartens. July saw the program expand to 15 kindergartens, with 155 children in attendance. Unfortunately, August will see a drop in participation, with 570 children not attending.

The program is structured in session-based formats, with children participating in group activities supervised by educators and specialists. This ensures a safe, engaging, and developmental environment for children during their summer break.

The "Balakaiylar Mektebi" program is an invaluable resource for parents and the community, helping to support children's continuous growth even outside the formal school year. For those seeking the most current statistics on participant numbers or detailed daily schedules, these are typically updated seasonally and can be found on gov.kz during the summer months.

In August, the program will be held in 100 schools, providing a wealth of opportunities for children to learn, grow, and have fun during their summer holidays.

As part of its ongoing summer program, "Balakaiylar Mektebi" has incorporated elements of lifestyle, education-and-self-development, with a focus on providing engaging activities for children during their holidays. These activities cater to the learning of both Kazakh and Russian curricula, thereby fostering the growth and development of young minds. Despite a drop in August participation, the program has managed to continue reaching thousands of children across Nur-Sultan, offering them a rich blend of educational, cultural, and recreational experiences.
