In the world of Italian hip-hop, Matteo Professione, better known as Ernia, is gearing up to release his latest album, "For Money and for Love." The album, set to drop on Friday, promises to be a deeply personal and introspective journey for the acclaimed artist.

The album's theme revolves around the conflict between money and love, and Ernia's verdict is clear: love wins. The title track serves as a reminder of what the important things are in life, with Ernia talking about his bonds with the people closest to him.

Ernia collaborated with a host of talented artists on this project, including Kid Yugi, Marracash, Club Dogo, Madame, Club Dogo, Gué Pequeno, and Jake La Furia. The collaboration with Club Dogo, influential pioneers in the Italian hip-hop scene, highlights Ernia's connection to this important musical movement.

The album follows a path from initial disillusionment with success to the track "Grateful." In "Grateful," Ernia expresses gratitude for his life despite feeling unsatisfied at times. This sentiment is echoed in the song's beautiful piano notes produced by Charlie Charles, with whom Ernia worked closely on the album.

"For Their Eyes" is a poignant song about Ernia's relationship with his parents and his sister. His sister, a photographer, is an example of dignity for him, and their relationship is explored in the lighter piece Berlin on the album.

In the track To Denounce, Ernia questions his journey and the sacrifices he made to achieve success. This track, featuring Marra, dates back to 2021 and was revived for the album due to its strong theme of self-reflection.

Ernia discarded an earlier album and started over with Charlie Charles. This fresh approach has resulted in a cohesive and powerful album that showcases Ernia's growth as an artist.

The album consists of twelve tracks, and one of the highlights is the track To Denounce, featuring Marra. In this song, Ernia finds paternity to be a beautiful thing and expresses his happiness about having a daughter. He is serene about the changes in his lifestyle, as he is happy to have a daughter.

Interestingly, Ernia does not attend dinners to network but spends time with his real friends who have normal jobs and never asked for favors. This realness and authenticity are reflected in his music, making "For Money and for Love" a must-listen for fans of Italian hip-hop and beyond.
