Voting Information for the Municipal Elections in Arnsberg

Voters in Arnsberg have several options to participate in the upcoming municipal elections on September 14th and 28th. Here's a breakdown of the available methods and deadlines.

Online Application

Mail-In Ballots

If a runoff election occurs, mail-in ballots will be automatically sent by post. Voters can also pick up their mail-in ballots in person. When sending voting envelopes via post, it is recommended to send them within the city of Arnsberg no later than Thursday, September 11, to ensure timely arrival at the voting office. Outside of Arnsberg, post delivery times can take up to three days, so voting envelopes from outside should be sent by Tuesday, September 9.

Remember, mail-in ballot applications can be submitted online, by email, or in writing, and when sending the application by post, it must be stamped. Mail-in ballots can be deposited without postage in the yellow mailboxes of the German Post or in one of the municipal mailboxes located at the City Office Neheim, Administrative Building Goethestraße 16-18, City Library Hüsten, Old Town Hall Arnsberg, and Grundschule Oeventrop.

In-Person Voting

In-person voting is possible without an appointment at the City Office Neheim and the central voting office in the Old Town Hall in Arnsberg. The Old Town Hall Arnsberg (Alter Markt 19, 59821 Arnsberg) has the following opening hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 am - 4 pm, Tuesday from 8 am - 6 pm, and Friday from 8 am - 12 pm. On Friday, September 12th, it is open from 8 am - 3 pm. The in-person voting office at the City Office Neheim (Lange Wende 6a, 59755 Arnsberg), rear entrance, operates from Monday to Wednesday from 8 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm, Thursday from 8 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 6 pm, and Friday from 8 am - 12 pm. On Friday, September 12th, it is open from 8 am - 3 pm.

Identification

A valid ID is required to obtain mail-in ballots.

Deadline

The deadline for submitting red voting envelopes is Sunday, September 14, at 4 pm. After this, all municipal mailboxes will be emptied for the last time before counting.

Registered Voters in Arnsberg
