The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the postponement of the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2025 Tier 1 exam, which was originally scheduled from August 13 to 30, 2025. The new dates for the Tier 1 exam will be announced in the first week of September 2025.
Reason for Postponement
The decision to postpone the exam was made due to significant technical glitches and operational issues experienced in recent SSC exams, notably the SSC Selection Post Phase-13 exam. These issues include server crashes, login failures, biometric authentication issues, and question loading errors reported with the new Computer-Based Test (CBT) vendor.

Approximately 28 lakh candidates who had applied for the SSC CGL 2025 are affected by this postponement.

City Intimation Slip and Admit Card

A special re-test for about 55,000 candidates affected by the Phase-13 exam issues is scheduled for August 29, 2025.
