School Modernization Initiates in Tumringen's Primary School, Lörrach

The city of Lörrach is taking a significant step forward in its modernization journey with the construction of a modular building at the Grundschule Tumringen. Designed by the architectural firm 'Bararchitekten', this two-story interim school will serve as temporary classrooms for students during the renovation of the old school building.

The construction of the modular building, which is taking place on an adjacent plot, marks a key milestone in the city's investment plan. The project is estimated to cost approximately 857,000 euros, bringing the total cost of the temporary classrooms to 1.2 million euros (857,000 + 350,000, the rental costs for the temporary classrooms).

The old building of the school will undergo a comprehensive renovation, as previously stated. The renovation, expected to take two years, will include the installation of new insulation, roof, and ventilation systems. Measures for fire protection and modern heating technology will also be implemented. Improved room layout is part of the renovation plans, aiming to enhance the learning environment for the students.

The cost of the construction and modernization of the Grundschule Tumringen, including the temporary classrooms, is 6.357 million Euros (5.9 million + 857,000 + 350,000). The renovation of the old building is a significant investment, reflecting the city's commitment to providing quality education facilities for its students.

The project is not just about temporary solutions, but also about setting the stage for the future. The construction of the modular building is just the beginning of the modernization of the city of Lörrach. As the renovation of the old building progresses, the students and the community can look forward to a state-of-the-art learning environment.

The temporary classrooms are fully equipped, including an administrative area, cafeteria, and all-day care. These facilities ensure that the students' needs are met during the construction period, providing a smooth transition from the old to the new.

The modular school building in Tumringen is a testament to the city's forward-thinking approach to education and infrastructure development. As the construction progresses, the community can expect to see more changes that will further modernize the city of Lörrach.
