  • The third quarter will be slightly longer, spanning 10 weeks, ensuring a comprehensive coverage of the curriculum.
  • The fourth quarter, the final stretch, will last 8 weeks, concluding on May 25, 2026.

In addition to the regular school terms, students will enjoy several holidays throughout the year.

  • First graders will have an additional 7-day holiday from February 9 to 15, 2026, inclusive.
  • Spring holidays will last 11 calendar days - from March 19 to 29, 2026, inclusive.

It's worth noting that the ceremonial line-up dedicated to Knowledge Day will be determined by the school's pedagogical council.

For precise and official vacation dates, it is best to consult the Ministry of Education’s announcements or the specific school’s academic calendar once published.

The academic year in Kazakhstan typically includes a summer break from early June to early September, a winter vacation usually around late December to early January (approximately 2 weeks), a spring break often in March or April lasting about 1-2 weeks, and short holidays on national or religious observances. However, exact dates can vary by region and institution.
