Semester's commencement bursting with vigor and enthusiasm

The Meerbusch Vocational School has kicked off a new semester on September 15, offering a wide variety of courses for the community. This semester promises to be particularly exciting, as the school introduces a host of new courses and events.

For the first time, Büderich will host a Vini-Yoga course, complementing the school's already diverse offering. The program includes innovative workshops like 'I Make Chemistry' and 3D printing, providing hands-on learning experiences for participants.

The school's programme extends beyond Büderich, with the VHS Meerbusch offering a variety of single events. These include writing workshops, travel lectures, and practical climate tips for everyday life. For architecture enthusiasts, there are interesting facts about the Elbphilharmonie to be learned.

The digital world is strongly represented in the programme, with topics ranging from deepfakes and disinformation to artificial intelligence and big data. For those interested in health, Feldenkrais courses are gaining popularity, and Qi-Gong is offered in Lank.

For those looking to improve their language skills, there are five new English courses for children, and two Chinese courses available, one for adults and one for children. The integration course for immigrants will start at the end of October, supplemented by career-oriented language courses at levels B1 to C1.

The programme brochure for the new semester has a fresh look and modern design, with large-format photos structuring the subject areas and creating visual clarity. The new atelier seminar opens creative possibilities with stone, wood, and gypsum. For those with a passion for dance, Latin American folk dances are available for participation.

Some remaining spots are still available for a few courses, including the 'Cooking and Language' combo courses. Registration for courses can be done under 'vhs-our-city' or by email at 'volkshochschule@our-city'.

The news in the mentioned article concern the city of Neusäß, although the Meerbusch Vocational School is at the heart of the action. The programme focuses on current content, with examples like the two Chinese courses.

The school's programme also includes a practical side strip for easy course search, making it convenient for everyone to find a course that suits their interests and needs. Whether you're looking to learn a new skill, improve your health, or expand your knowledge, the Meerbusch Vocational School has something for everyone.
