Southern Russian students invited to university program "University Ambassadors"
The upcoming season of Sber's "Ambassadors in Universities" program is set to unveil the future leaders of Russia's financial and technological sectors. This exciting initiative, now in its fifth year, will welcome its first ambassadors in September.
Sberbank's deputy chairman, Maria Prokhorova, has expressed high demand for the bank's projects this year, indicating a promising future for the program's participants.
The program offers a host of benefits to its ambassadors, including a monthly stipend, branded merchandise, access to educational courses, mentorship from Sber experts, invitations to exclusive events, and an expansion of professional networks.
To apply, students in their second year of bachelor's degree, master's, and postgraduate programs are required to submit an online application by July 20, 2025. The application process also includes completing a creative task and undergoing a final interview with Sber experts.
Key selection criteria for the program include an active lifestyle, event organization skills, content creation abilities, and the ability to present ideas.
Since its inception in 2020, the "Ambassadors in Universities" program has graduated students from 40 universities across Russia. The program will cover 19 cities this year, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Krasnodar.
Nataliya Dudina, head of the "People and Culture" block at Sber, believes that the program is a valuable stepping stone for future leaders. Daniil, a graduate of the 2021/2022 program, shared his experience, stating that he honed his communication, event organization, and student community building skills, which led to securing an internship, becoming a business analyst in the client experience team, learning how to build client products and work with communities, and eventually becoming a product manager in Sber's Youth Accelerators.
