Subway Station Robbery in Nieder-Eschbach, Frankfurt: Criminals Targeted, Witnesses Needed for Investigation
In the early hours of September 3, 2025, a disturbing incident occurred on the U2 line in Frankfurt am Main. An unidentified assailant, described as a male of Eastern European appearance, approximately 30 years old, and standing between 185cm and 190cm tall with a muscular build, stole a 19-year-old's smartphone.
The suspect, who was also carrying a black e-scooter, followed the victim out of the U-Bahn at Nieder-Eschbach station at approximately 23:35. He attacked the victim from behind, knocking him to the ground and making off with his mobile phone.
The female companion of the suspected perpetrator, who is also described as approximately 180 cm tall, of Eastern European appearance, and approximately 30 years old with a muscular build, was wearing a white t-shirt with a print and a cap at the time of the crime.
