'Summer Festival Cultivates Creative Skills in Children'

The Children's Club event, currently ongoing as part of the 17th edition of the "Cultural Summer" festival, is organised by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters. This year's event, held at the Al-Shamiya Theater, is focused on nurturing children's creativity and self-confidence through interactive workshops.

One of the workshops on offer is the 'Story Writing Profession', led by Jihan Ali. This workshop teaches children the fundamentals of story writing, including structure, character development, setting, conflict, resolution, and purpose. The collaborative environment encourages cooperation and imagination, with older children guiding and supporting the younger ones.

In contrast, the "Radio and Television Professions" workshop, conducted by Dr. Haifa Al-Sallal, introduces children to media professions, most notably broadcasting. The focus is on presenter skills, such as emotional control, speaking skills, and confidence, with practical exercises in an encouraging environment. The workshop also covers several specializations, including director, editor, and sound and lighting technician. Salem Al-Kandari, a trainer, participated in the same workshop and discussed his role as a technician, as well as simplifying explanations of technical tasks in the media field.

Both workshops are part of the Children's Club event, which forms a key part of the 17th "Cultural Summer" festival. The festival, organised by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, is an annual celebration of culture and arts, providing a platform for children to explore their creativity and develop their skills.
