NEIMARK.IT-Academy of Information Security Returns for a Second Year

The NEIMARK.IT-Academy of Information Security is set to return for its second year, bringing together students from 16 regions of Russia and Belarus. This academy, a collaborative effort between the regional talent development centre "Vega", Neimark University, and the R.E. Alekseev Nizhny Novgorod Technical University, is focused on cybersecurity and aims to provide participants with valuable experience.

Last year, over 100 students took part in the All-Russian School Olympiad in information security, organised as part of the academy. This year, organisers hope that students will gain even more from the programme, with masterclasses led by leading universities and lectures from industry experts and experienced educators.

Participants in the academy will find themselves immersed in a 10-day programme that challenges them to use their skills to solve complex cybersecurity tasks. The programme encourages participants to think creatively and use various methods and functions to find non-standard solutions.

Gulnara Bikkulova, director of Neimark University, explains that the programme is designed to teach students about the current challenges and problems in information technology. Alexei Khabibullin, acting rector of Neimark University, reports increased interest in the information security programme among schoolchildren.

Some participants from last year's academy have gone on to study information security at Neimark University and the Nizhny Novgorod Polytechnic University. This demonstrates the academy's success in providing students with a solid foundation in the field.

Unfortunately, no new information about the age or selection process of participants is available at this time. However, each year, the programme is updated to remain relevant and current, ensuring that participants receive the most up-to-date information and training.

While there is no specific information about the masterclasses or lectures from industry experts and experienced educators, it is clear that the NEIMARK.IT-Academy of Information Security is an exciting opportunity for students to learn about cybersecurity and gain valuable experience.

Despite a lack of information about the academy in search results, it is clear that this programme is an essential part of the cybersecurity landscape in Russia and Belarus. For those interested in participating, more information can be found by contacting the organisers directly.
