Udemy & Libraries Launch International Collection: 15 Languages, Equal Learning

Udemy, in partnership with public libraries, has launched the International Collection. This expansive resource caters to diverse communities by offering thousands of self-paced courses in 15 languages, promoting equal learning opportunities and cultural inclusivity.

The International Collection covers a wide range of in-demand skills, from leadership and cloud computing to marketing, sales, IT operations, and personal development. Each course provides a localized learning experience, tailored to cultural nuances and regional relevance. This approach aims to prevent isolation due to language barriers and encourage library resource usage.

Librarians can now offer patrons courses in their native languages, fostering better engagement, skill development, and a sense of belonging. The collection includes courses in Arabic, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Users can filter courses by language, change their account's language preference, or view the Udemy interface in their preferred language.

The International Collection on Udemy, now accessible through public libraries, breaks down language barriers and promotes inclusive learning. By offering courses in multiple languages, librarians can cater to various learning goals, schedules, and backgrounds within their diverse communities.
