UP ECCE Educator Compensation 2025: Examine Gross Salary, Job Description, Contract Duration, Perks and Benefits

The Uttar Pradesh Government has recently announced a significant opportunity for candidates seeking a respectable and fulfilling job. A total of 8,800 vacancies have been released for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Educators as part of a comprehensive ECCE implementation program.

These appointed candidates will be posted in any of the 8,800 schools with co-located Anganwadi centres in 75 districts across the state. The selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 10,313, along with benefits such as Provident Fund (PF) and Employee's State Insurance (ESI).

The role of the UP ECCE Educator is to provide education to children aged 3 to 6 years in Anganwadi centres/Balvatikas. The educators are primarily responsible for activities related to the cognitive development of children, conducting activities associated with colours, shapes, sounds, objects, and the environment.

They are expected to help children grow in all areas, including physical, mental, emotional, academic, and social skills. The educators are also responsible for equipping children with skills for formal education and assisting Anganwadi workers in achieving the same goal.

The selection will be made on a merit basis and certificate verifications. Candidates must be a graduate in home science with 50% marks and not over 40 years of age. The contract period for the UP ECCE Educator is for a maximum of 11 months.

In addition to their educational duties, the educators are required to build a safe and caring environment for the children's overall development. They are also responsible for formulating a plan for other activities related to children, such as games, drama, picnics, field trips, music, etc.

The appointed candidates are required to ensure the attainment of learning levels outlined under the NIPUN Bharat Mission, with special emphasis on children aged 5 to 6 years. The ECCE educators are also expected to help children grow in all areas, including physical, mental, emotional, academic, and social skills.
