Vibrant Examination of Sculptural Constructions
The Reuchlin Gymnasium students have organised an engaging digital rallye event for youth and students interested in contemporary and concrete art at the Museum of Concrete Art (MKKD) in Ingolstadt, Germany. This interactive rallye, now available via the museum app MKKD, aims to make art more accessible and enjoyable for young audiences by combining technology with education.
About the Digital Rallye
Participants will navigate through the museum using smartphones or tablets to solve puzzles, learn about exhibits, and engage with various sections of the Museum of Concrete Art, focusing on geometric abstraction and concrete art movements. The rallye lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours, depending on the group size and pace.

The primary venue for the rallye is the Museum of Concrete Art (MKKD), which features a comprehensive collection of works from the concrete art movement. Specific spots within the museum are integrated into the rallye route to highlight particular artworks and artists, such as those by Alf Lechner.
Rallye Route
The rallye route includes nine stations, starting from Tränktorstraße, passing through the Konrad-Adenauer-Bridge, Klenzepark, and ending at Donausteg. The rallye incorporates riddles, tasks, and creative challenges to keep users engaged throughout the experience.
Development and Funding
This innovative project was developed by twelve female students from the Reuchlin Gymnasium under the guidance of art teacher Theresa Hajduk. The app development is supported by the project "fabulAPP - Building blocks for digital storytelling in the museum" of the Bavarian State Office for Non-State Museums, funded by the Bavarian Sparkassen Foundation.
