Villingen-Schwenningen's New Hallerhöhe Primary School Opens Friday
Villingen-Schwenningen's new Hallerhöhe Primary School is set to open on Friday, September 19. The city has prepared the school building, with most rooms ready and the rest due to be finished this week. A joint craft afternoon for children is planned for Thursday, September 18, and an information evening for parents will be held on Wednesday, September 17.
The school team, comprising class teachers Kerstin Schlenker and Ulrike Kärcher, religion teacher Tanja Fischer, secretary Sarah Hahn, and Emilie Merkle from the VGS, has been working tirelessly to ensure the school is ready for the first day. The initial day of school begins at 10 am, with a program in the gym.
The school aims to be a feel-good place for children, providing individual support to each student. It will start with 27 children, including 17 from the Reliable Primary School (VGS). Sabine Braun from the Department of Youth, Education, Integration, and Sports (JuBIS) will accompany the school's opening. The architect behind the specific planning of the later renovated Hallerhöhe-Grundschule was Andreas Norrenberg.
The new Hallerhöhe Primary School opens its doors on Friday, September 19, with 27 children ready to start their educational journey. The city has ensured the building is prepared, and the school team is eager to welcome both children and parents for what promises to be an exciting start.
