A workshop on 'Toxic Masculinity' was held at the Bürgerzentrum Gahmen on September 26, 2025, led by Mathias Gathof and Jana Müller. The event, attended by 16 participants, explored gender roles, power structures, and paths to equality. Director Regina Hunschock announced plans to continue and deepen these discussions.

The workshop, led by Mathias Gathof of Spiegelbild Wiesbaden and Jana Müller of men.return, delved into societal norms and their influence on coexistence. Practical exercises demonstrated how entrenched gender patterns affect daily life.

Participants discussed central steps for change, including openness, confronting personal role models, and showing care. Notably, while women shared numerous strategies against sexual harassment, the whiteboard remained blank for men, highlighting the need for men to take an active role in overcoming these patterns. Jens, who plans to continue and deepen this topic, was present at the event.
